Working towards a resolution since 6/29/16? I guess with the M8 issues, they have more important resolutions to work on than streaking instruments.

A fat rubber band worked for me until I went on a 3500 mile road trip and the rubber band became a pain. Back in town and the shop replaced the gas cap and a bit to my surprise, it doesn't buzz. Hopefully it will maintain it's quiet.
UPDATE - With about 200 miles on the new gas cap it now buzzes just as badly as the first one.

I fixed my dynas speedo permenantly because i would get water in it during rainy rides... i cut the pos off and threw it in the trash. Speedometers are lame anyway... i just wet the tip of my finger and im accurate within 45mph.

Condensation in the speedo, tailight, turn signals........

You gotta give it to HD; they're willing to live with a problem longer than most owners are I'm thinking they could sell some black and orange rubber wrist bands like the "WWJD" ones. "TADT" The All Do That

Huh. Guess I need to put a hand on my cap when I accelerate to see if mine rattles. I hear rattling, I've always thought it was valvetrain or predetonation.

That's how I found out it was the gas cap, I could not figure out the rattle and whooshing noises till I put my hand on the gas cap. It seemed so unlikely and so fricking annoying when I realized it was something so stupid.

I've had condensation show up a few times inside the speedo on my '09 Nightster. Usually there at the beginning of the ride and gone within a few hours on the road. Never really bothered me. It takes care of itself. All good.

Ya gotta love the irony of this ..... While this condition is warranted, there is a high probability the replacement part will exhibit the same condition at this time. Consider this when reviewing the issue and repairs to the affected vehicles. HD is aware of the condition and working toward a resolution.
