you could do it with parts off a '18 frame softail....some beefier foot pegs or mini boards might do the trick for under a hundred bucks. I had these ISO wings on my V rod an it was a huge improvement..felt much more solid an my feet didn't want to blow off at highway speeds....HD makes mini boards that I like for around $120.
i put fatboy boards & mounting brackets on mine.love them
just to clarify....you used 2018 fat boy floorboards and brackets for the driver on a 2018 sport glide? If so, will def look at the catalog and try that setup.
You could probably add stirrups for quite a bit less, and keep the look and feel of pegs, but if you move the stirrups up so they're almost flat instead of sticking down, they give you the added foot position like you had floorboards. If you have them too far down, though, they may scrape on corners where you're leaned over pretty far.
I contacted Harley and they have no ETA on parts. I also emailed Kuryakyn and they expect floor boards available for the new Harley’s in August so I’ll probably just wait for those. Thanks for all the suggestions.
