New 2007 fxstc in the driveway

RE: New 2007 fxstc in the driveway
I also own a 2007 FXSTC (the same color combination you have). I put the Harley matching saddle bags on mine equipped with Barebacks (quick disconnects). It is a real nice setup. I highly recommend a quick disconnect system. I can put them on/take them off in a matter of seconds. (I also like the "clean look" with no saddlebags. The Barebacks do not leave a bracket on the bike, just 4 bolts). Comes in handy when washing your bike and also allows you to take your saddlebags inside (i.e. hotel or house) instead of unpacking them and adds the security from someone swiping your saddlebags or whats in them by having them inside with you. I also have a quick detach windshield from Harley to go with the Barebacks. Can switch the setup onmy bike for cruising on the highway or the "clean look"for town in minutes. The only thing I do not like about the Barebacks are that I switch to a Badlander seat occasionally and with the Barebacks and stock sissybar I have to take the four bolts offfrom the bike. No big deal though.

As far as saddlebags ironbags.com is unbelievable !! you can order them with and without bells and whistles and the do come with hardware that works with other quick disconnect hardware

Congrats on the new bike
I don't know about the forward controls but I bought my bags from leatherneckjims and couldn't be happier. I spent about 500 total with shipping and the Ez brackets.

and here are the ones I bought my not be your taste but they have a bunch and the quality is very good even at the low price. I don't work there just a customer who was happy with my purchase and believe in word of mouth.

There has been several bag threads with some places the people highly recommend so check those as well. I was just impressed with the quality and price and great customer service.
Good luck with what ever bags you get and ride the crap out of that new bike
