New to the Forum. Been riding 35 years. First Harley Davidson. Having a great time and need your advice. Recently retired and last year I purchased a New 2006 Softail Heritage Classic. Lookingat improving thepassager ride. I don't feel the bumps driving, but at times my wife gets an abrupt jolt.I weight 190 and she is 135 lbs. The rear shocks are set like they came from the HD factory. Is the fixpossibley just a shock adjustment problem or would the Softail Air Ride Systems be the real fix? I see the Air Rides Systems lift and lower the bikes but do they improve the quality of ride vsstandardSoftail shocks?Thanks for your help and your time.

Do a search in the forum.....there is a section on setting shocks. As I recall you need a specific tool, wrench, other than that it didnt seem too difficult. Mine is still at factory settings but I havent had any complaints riding 2 up.
