Got the new hard bags on
First off a big thanks to "CaptKirk" for his thread.
It was just what I needed to pull the trigger on a set of hard bags.

I ordered TCMT's from Amazon for around $220 and decided to go with the chrome baggertail setup just to make sure I had the strongest mount available.
I couldn’t justify the $320+ price tag for the Cycle Visions version of mounts so went with the e-bay knockoffs.
They probably aren’t the quality of the Cycle Visions but for $105 I can deal with the issues.
After a couple of trips to Lowes for some hardware I got everything on.
The Baggertail setup hardware doesn't account for accessory's like docking and my Progressive 422 RAP adjustment dial.
I think my Signature Series touring seat looks a bit big without the tour pak so I may go back to the OEM seat for now.
I also think I might add some pin-stripping but the vivid black that the bags came painted as is a spot on match for the OEM paint.
I like the setup and certainly like benefits of the hard bags.

Looks great! Good job!
When you say chrome baggertail kit are you referring to the Cycle Visions brand mounting kit? I ask because you still have the original rear turn signal bar on your bike. Just how much space is there between the saddlebags and the turn signals? Maybe you could post up a pic showing the clearance...I know it will be close. Thanks

I kinda feel guilty about buying the knock-offs but not guilty enough to spend 3 times the money for the Cycle Visions version.
As for space between the turn signal and the bags; there’s only about 1/4” on this version of bags.
TCMT does make different versions and there’s one where-as the bags don’t slant in the rear but they don’t quite have the look of traditional OEM bags.
