Default Softail slim RSD 200mm Wide tire kit

Can anyone tell me what kind of labor would go into installing the RSD tracker rear fender kit on a 2017 softail slim?

The bike is only 2 months old and I’m not sure trading it in for 2017 breakout is reasonable or practical, maybe it is?

Everything is bolt on if you want to go this 200mm route.
You'll need to find a rear wheel from a Softail Crossbones, it will fit directly into your swing arm. The Crossbones rim will match your stock front (rim profile, spokes and polished hub)
You simply re-use your stock wheel spacers and pulley..it's a simple swap...bolts right in without any "custom" work.
The RSD Fender kit is also a simple bolt on, nothing to do there other than have the fender painted. You can do all this in your garage with some simple tools, only outsourced work will be the tire install onto the rim (unless you can find a rim with a tire already on it) and the rear fender paint.

You can also buy the 150mm RSD tracker kit if you want to make it really easy.

I did the wheel swap a while ago..see the thread here.

I have just installed the RSD fender kit and seat this winter.

I love this look. Pricy though... if I ever got one of these types of bikes I would put this on asap!

I am in the middle of doing this for my 2016 Softail Slim S, I am trying to figure out what size rear wheel will work so that I can still fit a 200 tire. According to the chart in the link below the max I can go is an 18 x 4.25. I have called Roland Sands and Performance Machine for help and they weren't much help. Heartland claims that a 18 x 5.5 will fit with the correct offset in the hub, but they wont say what the offset is "Proprietary Information" haha. Any help would be greatly appreciated as riding season is almost here and my factory tire is worn out.

I am waiting for my new wheels to come in and then it will be done. I ordered a 18” x 5.5” rear wheel and 21” x 3.5” front wheel. To fit a 200 rear tire you’ll need a new wheel and fender and either have to space the struts out or get a rear fender kit from Roland Sands or Heartland. I’ll update the thread with pics when mine is all done.

Default I got a 13 slim and am looking to put a 180 on it

I was wondering if your 200 fit on that slim without a new swing arm? I’m getting conflicting information.
