Default Papa Bags support

Got my Papa Bags supports and thinking about riveting them to the bags. I take my bags on and off a lot and they are somewhat of a PIA. They may get easier over time as the bags reshape but I have a tendency to want to f*ck with stuff. Anyone tried this? Thoughts of possible side effects?

Was looking at a set of these for my bags. How do you like them? I don't see where that would hurt to permeinatly attach them.

I just got these so not sure how they will do long term but the reviews are good so I am hopeful. Had Boss Bags do my other Heritage and it was great but pricey having to ship 2 ways. Only other options I know of are Saggy Bags and Leather Lids. Probably any of them would be fine.

Do you think they would work better? Look very similar to papabags. I'm thinking the inside wire support over the got saggy bags set myself. Looks like you'll still keep a old school soft bag look just retain the shape.

Been looking at the Harley supports (https://www.harley-davidson.com/stor...top---lock-kit). Doesn't seem to be much more expensive than the Ride Solutionz product, and offers the option of being able to lock the bags.

Curious if there's any particular reason(s) why y'all are looking at the other options rather than the HD one? Mostly wondering if there's a compelling reason that I shouldn't be looking at the HD ones

Only thing I didn't like about the Ride Solutions & Papas Bags is that they're only lid kits, with the same money you can get a kit that does the entire bag, it may be a little more work but the end results are much better. JMO.

No reason to not be looking at them at all. I have considered them but I don't really need the locking feature. If I'm that uncertain of someone breaking into the bag I'll take it off. A good razor knife open that bag right up. So I figure save the few bucks.
