Default Reviews Appreciated of this Seat

Signature Series® Seat with Rider Backrest 51922-09 for Heritage Classic, just looking to do a lot of miles this year and thinking of changing the rider seat for something with a little extra comfort as I stack my luggage on the rear seat.

It moves you forward and down about an inch.
As for comfort; with a HD circulator pad and back rest I can ride all day without discomfort or butt sweat.

As for if I'd pay $550 for it....there's a lot of options out there for that price or less.
I got mine off of craigslist for $250 so my decision was easy.

That is a hideous seat. If I need to be that comfortable I'll just take the car.

Thanks for your comments although I don't think the seat is any worse than the stock riders seat with the pillion added?

The OP was looking for opinions on comfort not looks.

That being said; "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder".
Apparently my eyes obviously have a different view than yours because I think the seat looks awesome.

At first, I did think the seat was a little large but on reflection and seeing the stock riders seat with the pillion seat on the bike, it certainly looks no worse and is slowly growing on me, especially seeing a number of images of the seat on Heritages.

Comfort doing about 3,000 miles to Prague is paramount and if this ticks the box, then that'll do for me.

I had that seat on my 09 Heritage and it was very comfortable but look terrible. The thick high-back pylon just looks out of place. For the last 4 years I've had the ultimate seat combination and have never look back. Passenger pylon comes right off and it looks great if I strip down the bike.

Thank you for your comments, much appreciate differing views.

With regards comfort as I tried the Mustang wide solo seat with backrest but it honestly didn't feel right to me. Can you confirm the Ultimate seat combination is a comfortable rider's seat for the long haul and does the pillion seat offer more comfort than the stock pillion, the good lady just asked me to enquire

I have a Mustang seat on my 06 standard and I love it but the ultimate is for long rides. The pylon is extremely comfortable for my wife. It is cushy and is wide and sits at the perfect angle. It ended my journey to find a perfect seat

Better half used the signature series on her fat boy for 2 seasons and loved it. Had MCC narrow it and add memory foam with heat. The ability to have the backrest is a huge upside. With a sissy bar on the back it actually looked good. Looked like a whale tail without it.
