Over the years I have had many seats and never found one that was real comfortable. Best thing I ever did for comfort was add a sheepskin butt pad. Never would have believed how much difference it makes had I not tried one. Much cheaper than a new seat. have the sundowner for my standard I believe is the same seat just without the back rest? but is crazy comfortable just not crazy about the looks though. so I have switched to a different seat
I put the Grass Hopper drivers backrest on my Heritage and it totally transformed the comfort of the bike. No issues now. Ill let you know in a few weeks though when I do a 400 mile day. So far the furthest I have gone is about 150 miles non stop.
It just goes to show that each person is different . I have the mustang vintage wide seats on 3 bikes have done 1700 miles in 3 days . I think the biggest help is the adjustable back rest.
