Default Deluxe rear turn signal bar on a Fatboy

Has anyone put one of these on a Fatboy? Was it hard to do? I know it requires drilling holes in the fender. Is there anything else to it. I want to put bags on my bike that require getting the turn signals off the struts. I think that light bar is the best looking solution.

I have not performed this, but Kuryakyn makes a new rear signal light bar.

with the above setup, you just add on their silver bullet lights

OR

you could see if this set would work out for you too:

If you must put the deluxe tailight and turnsignal bars on your fatboy you can change out the entire rear fender to a deluxe fender, it has been done.

Keep the stock tail light and just put the turn signal bar on. It requires drilling two holes and re-routing the wires. I did it when my Fatboy fell over in my driveway and snapped off the left turn signal. Here's a tip from another member: use your wife's lipstick on the holes in the braket, push it against the fender. If it looks straight, DRILL AWAY! Sorry, no pictures yet but I'll have them soon.
