Hey everyone,
Just as the title says I'm looking to see if its possible to utilize the stock cables (without extending) for 12 inch apes. It is 2001 HD Night Train.
Currently has 6inch rise and looks like there "could be" room to run 12 inch apes. I would have to ditch the 6" rise of course.
Any input would be great.

 

A dealer changed mine out on a Nightrain and changed the cables,and mine are 10" Harley chubby mini apes with 1" risers, not sure,think the whole lot came as a kit. Whether the original cables will work I don't know, possiblely but they may be a bit tight.

He must be wailing pretty hard then, cause I know of quite a lot of NTs with apes!

You can get the black vinyl cables a lot cheaper than the braided ss cables. Also you can get the burly kit with wire extensions for 180ish... and sorry donk_316 I have apes on my NT as well
