Default The never ending search for hp

I have a 2015 softail slim, just had some work done and i feel as if my numbers are low for hp and ftlbs. has the stock 103 but have s&s 585 cams heads have be reworked cnc ported. it has a s&s tear drop intake power vision and samson true dual fishtails. right now the bike is putting out 106 ftlbs and 96 hp. will a 2 into 1 exhaust really help out that much also what about a larger throttle body from hpi and injectors would like to get about 110 hp for the time being any help would be awesome and much appreciated.

You are trying to get as much HP and you went with fishtails? Yes a 2 into 1 will get you some extra hp.

Stop paying attention to numbers on a dyno chart and instead concentrate on how the bike feels and rides.

Yeah, I ran Samson true dual fishtail exhaust.
Yes, loved the look, loved the sound. But they ARE NOT the best choice for peak power numbers.
If your looking to create a dyno sheet to brag your numbers on, switch to a 2 into 1 system. And you'll be right at the figures your seeking.

I'm not just looking for a Dyno sheet just seems a little low on the numbers for what has been done. And I went with the fish tails before I really planned on building the bike up. I have tq cones but are not installed couldn't figure them out so I said screw it. Would they help or just get a bobcat from d&d and call it a day?

I would try the cones just to see. But if they messed with that beautiful fishtail sound, I'd ditch them regardless of the results. To me, style and sound far outweigh dyno sheets. But if getting numbers is the priority, a proper 2-1 is the solution.

Adding the Fat Cat 2-1 Pro with Perforated Baffles will add between 7-10HP and increase your torque, they also sound and look awesome too.

I have added more to my build but recently got 118HP and 110TQ but those numbers will go up after some tuning.

I'm in the process of adding TW-555 cams to my '15 slim...I already have a DK customs air cleaner kit an V&H dual's...I know the duals will cost me some low end...I just want something that runs strong in the power band I ride in, not looking to squeeze every drop out of it on the top end. I read if you get up over 110 HP you start pushing the limits of the stock 103 crank...plus a lot of what you end up with depends on the tuner you use an what the tech is capable of.
