Yes, loved the look, loved the sound. But they ARE NOT the best choice for peak power numbers.
If your looking to create a dyno sheet to brag your numbers on, switch to a 2 into 1 system. And you'll be right at the figures your seeking.
so you're saying a 2/1 is good for 14 hp? Any brand or model specifically? That's cheap power, about 60 dollars per hp.

All the info is in the thread, but it's doesn't increase rpm too dramatically...
https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...p-to-13-a.html

Here's an example..

In 6th gear:

Stock 32/66 combo at 80mph = 2936 rpm
With 32/68 combo at 80mph = 3025 rpm
With 32/70 combo at 80 mph = 3114

With 30/68 combo at 80mph = 3226 rpm
With 30/70 combo at 80mph = 3321 rpm

A good 2-1 will get you around 7-10HP increase in power, I installed the Fat Cat 2-1 Pro exhaust with perforated baffles and she flies, increased my ride by 10 hp so worth it for me. Sounds pretty good too.

The op said he had 96 hp and was looking for 110 hp. And then you posted this in post #4. You said "switch to a 2/1 and you'll be right at the figures your seeking " which equals 14 hp. I'm not trying to start anything I just wanted to know because that's good gain if I went from dual setup to a 2/1 that I might actually consider it. Didn't mean to get anyone upset

If anyone likes to know numbers, as riding after any work is not easily measured, it is always advisable to ask for a Dyno before any work, it's just a way of keeping a measurement for current builds and future add on's. Usually, if you talk nice to the shop, as they are also interested to keep records, they will do the second run for free being an advantage to them as much as you for future reference/customers.

HD really do not like giving out numbers, especially when a lot of the stock bikes at barely reach the high sixties in HP.

I talked to them about doing a baseline run but they said they didn't have time. Was is the stock hp a 2015 103 is putting out?

I'd use use low 70s tops as the number on hp (as delivered all stock). I'm talking at the wheel not the claims hd markets which is more than likely at the crank.
