I used to say the same to my friends when they were upgrading but now I understand, if you love your ride and want that little extra ummph when required, its just nice to know its there and also, there is the fun aspect of riding with others when you see their faces as you pull away.
Just enjoy whatever turns you on I say.........

If you compare the two, I would preferred the top one compared to the bottom. My reasoning, look how power keeps building until it hits the end. With your new tune it drops after it hits 4K rpm. You got more mid range power earlier but sacrificed top end. You lost 10 hp and 8 ft lbs of tq at the very end.
It bet before you retuned the bike, the motor ran really strong until you hit the end of the rev range. Where with the new tune you can feel it falling after you hit peak tq and hp.
