Default Breakout headlight

Has anyone changed their headlight bulb to a LED?
If so which one and do you like it?

My buddy has a daymaker and it occasionally turns on his idiot light on his dash. That's why I am asking about a LED.

Yes, I changed just the bulb to LED on my 15 Breakout. I used Hogworkz, it’s a super tight fit to get everything in there but it fits and it’s super bright. I really like it and for $34 it seems like a good deal

I originally changed to the Daymaker, but then bought a 7" headlight bucket on eBay and went with a Speaker 8790 Adaptive LED. Fantastic headlight, and the only one that steers around corners. (the 5-3/4" version is the 8690) Since then I bought a Street Glide and moved the 8790 to that and have an old Speaker 8700 EVO2 in the Breakout, but with the 8790 price drop I'll be buying another one for the Breakout -it's just that good a light!

And with the 8690 it's just plug and play with the original headlight bucket?

To install led bulb, its better install a led lamp. Better result and best ilumination. Because the bulb original lamp, are not prepared good to fit led. Yes, maybe you can gain more ilumination, but with a led lamp (daymaker Harley davidson 400$ or copy version 40$, you can obtain more light).
I use the copy version and very happy, great ilumination.

Daymaker is Harley's LED headlight and I have never heard one instance where a factory headlight turned on the idiot light. Hear about aftermarket ones turning it on all the time though.
