Default First harley, softail and M8

The smoothness of the motor. the color combo and the tough look of this new fatboy sold me instantly.
While I've built several customs, repaired and ridden every generation of Harley. This is the first one I've bought and I plan to leave it all stock as the low# special edition.
I was impressed with the new feel and features right on the dealer floor.

First Softail for me too. Sissy bar pad was on order, but is now installed. As someone else said, its a practical necessity.

My son has a Slim, but now wants one like yours, he has a year to go before he can trad. He is keeping a close eye on them. Congrats on your bike.

Never thought I'd get rid of my '12 Fat Boy Lo but it only took one short ride on the '18 Heritage Classic to leave her behind! Of course, the 114 is plenty of power and I love how nimble it is through twisties.

Since there's not much out there yet for exhaust, I've been adding the cosmetic stuff. Comfort means more right now than sound! So far....
Mean City Cycles reworked the stock seat and added an ostrich panel to match the old backrest.
King 21" detachable windshield...stock one was too short
Motherwell fender rack
Kuryakyn ISO grips
Kuryakyn Industrial mirrors, 3x6"
Bright *** Taillight, lay down and smoke lens
Smoke lenses on all signals
HD Defiance light rings and speedo gauge ring
Front axel covers
Iron Braid leather braided clutch and brake levers...no fringe!
Hubby is making a custom, old school sissy bar and removable luggage rack

Next project is CD LED signals and replace the stock 1" bicycle bars with 1.25" 14" apes. I would love to get rid of the spokes but haven't found much for 16" wheels, at least none I could afford.

Before mods...
