Congratulations. I ride plenty of distance on Softails. I love my 18 Heritage and so will you. I also use a Sena headset and have music on all the time.

Congratulations and Awesome bike! I too just got the 2018 Heritage and have to wait it out for the weather to turn. You can start swapping parts right away though lol.

That anniversary Heritage is freaking gorgeous. Finally saw one at my local dealer.

Interesting comments on the sport touring. I have a Switchback now, and the Heritage seems like a similar mission bike with a better chassis and engine.

I've been toying with the Heritage or a Sport Glide. They seem similar in mission profile, but different.

I had a Heritage back in the "90's, loved it. Presently ride a Ultra Limited, also really like it, especially the cruise control, stereo, the hard lowers and the nice calm air pocket I ride in when it's cool or rainy. I have test rode a couple of new Heritages. Yes they are definitely faster, they just seem to fit me, like how they finally have cruise control and ABS brakes, But at 65 the wind just seemed to blast the **** out of me on the new Heritages, they definitely need a taller and wider windshield and maybe a set of fork mounted air deflectors, or I'd need to start wearing a full face helmet.

All you need is the Fork Wind Deflectors on the new Heritage. Will completely eliminate the wind blast.
