RE: FLSTN taillight/signals on FLST?
I recently saw a thread on this, where a guy wanted to put the deluxe signal assembly on a springer. From what I recall the fenders were not compatable. However, the taillight alone should fit. Just a guess though. It was the signals that wouldn't work because the fenders were totally different.

I dont think you can swap out the tailights between the two without some mods, I have a buddy that has swapped out his entire rear fender on his fatboy to a deluxe fender to get the bars and tombstone lights on, same mounts on the frame. If you take a look at the deluxe fenders they have dimples on the fender where the turnsignal light bar attaches, this may be an issue with other than FLSTN fenders. I have seen the aftermarket (kury) tombstones installed on the heritage fenders, this may be an option.
Good luck with your scoot.

Welcome to the world of customizing your Harley. Most of the timeyou cant go by what the book says. In fact the book will make you think everything has to be left stock. Take a look at my buddies *** end and you will see that he changed his fatboy fender with a deluxe fender with no mods to the deluxe fender.

JP Cycle has a wide tombstone tail light listed for the 1973-2007 models. Claims to fit OEM fenders and stock or laydown license plate brackets. I'm looking to make the same change as I want to go the the nostalgic look.
