Default Fatbob rear fender on fatboy

been looking and thinking. I really don’t like my fatboy rear fender and tail light. So was wondering if a fatbob rear fender will fit on a fatboy? With little or no mods to be done.? This is so I can relocate my number plate and don’t have the big bulky tail light.

If it is a 2018 you are talking about, Fat Bob fender is 9 ¾ inch wide. If the Fat Boy has the same width, you could swap. Mounting holes should be same or you could use the FXFB fender supports. Might have to drill a couple of holes to accommodate seat.

As an alternative, you could use the rear fender of a Xbones. Since I changed de rear fender of my 2009 Xbones with one of a Fat Boy, you can do the reverse if you can't find out about the Fat bob.

You just have to find out if the width of the Fat Bob fender is the same. then the rest should be reasonably simple.

Best of luck in your search, should be a neat conversion.

Really you want to use a Fatbob rear fender, would have thought most people scraped those things. Still if you like it and the wheels are the same size would imagine it would fit. As Rakthi said would have thought a Crossbones/ Nightrain rear fender would look better, or have you considered a Heartlands USA kit?

Thanks, it was my first thought as I seen the fender. I will also look at the option you said. Appreciate your advice and feedbackCheers
