Looks super nice. Glad you got her done and out on the road.

Some nice photography there as well. Love the one with the dealer sign!

Not sure I like the chrome any better than the OEM brushed finish - but then I'm a "blacked out" ***** anyway.

The paint colour looks great. You have something truly unique there. Enjoy it!

Because I went chrome on this build I will be installing braided cables. Reason I didn’t out of the gate is because I had a doubt about these bars, and that doubt turned out to be right. Due to the heavy front end of the new Fat Boy I should have kept the height of the bars to 10”. These 14”bars no not help the handling of the bike at all. So I will be making the change and at that time I will address the cables more astetically. But, not much you can do with a clutch cable, it sure would have been nice if these bikes came with a hydraulic clutch, it’s much easier Setting up a clean set up with a hydraulic line then it is any cable.

That sounds great. I really like the painted side covers.

Not worth risking the transfer issue imo. Bad enough the sumping is a spectre waiting in the shadows for us.

I got a first rate tour of the touring M8 case by Steve Cole today and unless they made significant architecture fixes to the Softail crank case we all should count our blessings if we aren't sumping. Stage 2 is THE end as far as I'm personally willing to gamble. The example I saw had a sump placed and shaped wrongly by any measure of motor dynamics engineering. I'm not saying we'll all sump, but it's fate that should not be tempted imo.

Not going to muck up your beautiful thread with storm clouds any further. Love your build Putt.

Not your run of the mill photos there, someone did a great job. Congrats on the bike! Why does it look like there's tire shine on your tires?
