As do a lot of people I outgrew the Sportster in short time...definitely a nice upgrade and a hell of a deal since it was a new 2017 sitting on the showroom floor.

Congrats on your new ride!

Not saying you won't like the Softail going forward...but you may also be one of the tens of thousands that end up missing their Sporty down the road.

Methinks folks do not outgrow their Sportster so much...more like many expand their tastes.

Congrats Welcome to the Softail side, Like DK said I miss my Sporty but just didn't have the garage room for 2 bikes. You will love the Slim S. Ride safe.

Haven't owned a sportster since a new AMF in High School and never would.

Congrats on the new bike!
hopefully the skirtster found a good home.
Now go out and enjoy a bike that is not that size of a junior high kids bicycle 🍻

And no I'm not a hatter. I had one when I was 19. 👍

I’m a chrome fan myself, but that blacked out Softail is just awesome. Welcome. Enjoy. Ride safe.

My 1st HD was a Sporty many years ago and my 2nd was a Softail. I've never looked back since. I rode my brother's Sporty while in Daytona last year and couldn't wait to get off it.

Good move.
It’s been known since ... forever ... that sportsters are for girls. Or physically small men.
