Curious, what are the pro's and con's of cutting the stock baffles and putting them in along with the BCT's?
If you want a quieter exhaust... you can use both baffles. The BCTs are only 4" long and will not make your pipes very quiet. Basically as I understand its like No Baffles without the loss in HP you normally would get plus the sound quality will be a deeper sound.

I have some BCT knock-offs that I made; and yes, they are LOUD! But I am curious what the downside is with putting in the stock baffles, too. Do you lose any of your midrange? How about that awsome deep sound?

The guy at BCT said that as long as you place them ahead of the BCT baffle it wont affect performance and will just quiet the exhaust down. I will still get the lower sound and benefits of the backpressure help for midrange torque. (2500 to 3500 rpm range). but he said it had to have the BCT 6" up from the end. but this was for the BR pipes. so not sure if it matters on your pipes to just replace in the same place as the stock baffles.

Interesting. I'll have to do some experimenting. Thanks for the info!

I have the Big Radius on an 07 Train. Will you please let me know how the sound is when you finish the install??? I am also very interested in getting rid of the raspy sound of these pipes.

Thanks!

Just ordered my TM's and the dude told me to drill the new mounting hole 6" from the end of the pipe, and have the "lolipop" facing the rear. They will be here on Tuesday.

I'm going to run just the TM's for now.

I asked the guy about where to install the baffles, and he said 6 inches in as stated above. He said If I install them where the stock baffles are (2 inches from the end), it will be like having lead weights in the end of the pipes. Don't really know what that means, but I am going to drill the holes 6 inches as directed.

Hey there,

Do you find you have to wrap your leg around the hypercharger and then kinda force your right foot inwards onto the right foot peg? I just put a hypercharger on and am finding that. Am thinking of extending the footpeg outward a couple of inches using the spacers on the accutronix site.

Regards,
DeanO
