Really not happy with having a 25K bike that sounds like a moped

People generally seem pretty happy with the sound of the Street Cannons, and they have cats in 'em so they're legal and warranty-friendly.

I saw my dealership cranking out 18 models with Non CA compliant exhausts. When i bought mine with stock exhaust the owner of the HD shop said " get a exhaust out of state" So i take it they are really lax on it. Guess it varies talked to them after before buying tbr 2 into 1 exhaust he said "we will take care of you if anything fails and good choice on exhaust" So i feel good about upgrading.
I think a lot of dealers are using this tactic...i have had 3 say the same thing to me.
What they aren't telling you is that the dealer is paying for the repair not Harley or the warranty company... and unless you get it in writing from them they could change their minds at any time

info
So I spoke to a guy at my dealer as well as a former mechanic from Harley who is a friend of mine. They told me that the MoCo was actually considering a Skype session from the factory to the dealer if there is a warranty issue and the MoCo wants to "see" the bike to insure it has not been obviously modified. While they haven't done it yet sounds like the MoCo is doing everything it can subtly (and not so) to go after the secondary parts market. Falls into the who the f knows category I suppose

I have the street cannons on mine. I will say. At idle they aren't that loud. Give them some gas, they start to wake up. I have noticed they do get a little louder as you start to break them in. Last, this just might be in my head, but they seem louder at idle after I put the cam in the bike.

I would've have believed you 5 years ago if you told me having the cat in the headers would be a good thing in 2018. HA
