That’s pretty neat. I have the portable one that you have to plug in once a month. It’s kind of big and it’s a POS. It would even jump my lawnmower. I would like to get one of these.
You’ll like this then. It charges over USB and comes with a mobile adapter. You can put it back on charge even after you’ve just jump started. Let the alternator do it.
The charge indicator has 4 bar lights on it. The expedition jump only made one bar go into blink.
Battery tender makes a USB to go on your bike’s tender plug. Tempted to just route the tender plug into the saddlebag and keep this thing charged all the time.
Will give it a few weeks for someone to see this and tell me how stupid I am before I try it.
Wish I had the option of keeping a battery tender on my bike.
I bought a similar one to that from Costco too. Works great except it’s really hard to get the clips on the tiny battery leads.

I don't have that problem with this one. But, there is a fix for that. You can put Safe-T-connects on the battery and replace the jumper leads with another so It's all plug in and you don't have to fool with clamps.
i always jump start big twins but hitting the bolt on top of the starter, that way don't have to take the seat off. (i had a HD battery tender that was eating batteries)
do NOT try to jump start via the Battery Tender connection, it has a 5 amp fuse that is a PAIN to replace!
Starter pak, pistol, and replacement FOB batteries in every bike. Some even hide the spare FOB with no battery in case they lose the primary. Sounds silly but like a pistol, better to have it and never need it, than need it and not have it.
