Water Cooled Softail ( Fat Boy ) ???

Though you two are in complete disagreement with each other, I still don't see the V-Rod look of the New FatBoy. Other than a 240 rear tire, to me the bikes look and feel entirely dissimilar. I dever minded the look of the V-Rod, but whether one likes or hates the new FatBoy look, does it really look like a V-Rod??..:

Bob fender on a fatboy? And original wheels were solid. They only added the 50 cal bullet holes in wheels due to reported crosswind issues, which is signature on a fatboy. They came out with the V-Rod to tap into the foreign market. If I wanted a yamaha looking bike, I would buy a yamaha looking bike. I have never seen a harley owner modify his or her bike to look futuristic, but just the opposite. More traditional and nostalgic. Just an observation.....

Depends how much Indian eats into their profits.
If they build their Scout line into some bigger models I can see HD biting the bullet and liquid cooling to compete. I don't particularly enjoy cooking at the stop lights either.
I'm going to have a hard time not trading in if they rebadge the Victory Octane as an Indian and lose the angles.

Traded my VROD Muscle for the 114 FB. It’s not that it looks like a VROD,to me it just has a low muscular stance sorta like a VROD.
The Breakout resembles The VROD now more with that new headlight.
BTW, I loved the VROD and Hope HD brings it back or some new updated model of it.

I'm expecting it. They said they weren't shutting down the Victory factory which means they'll be retooling it for Indians. That says there will be some bigger scout style bikes coming to me.
