I like the Reckless Batwing. I'll need to wait for them to update for the 2018 models. At that point i won't be needing a phone mount.

I absolutely love my QuadLock. Before that I had one that had the sides you stretch out and let snap back on, with the rubber bands for the corners. I found myself never wanting to take the phone off to take pics at cool stops because it was so much work to get it on and off.

Now with the QuadLock, I don't have that issue.

I did find the QuadLock case to be a bit slick, and since I use the phone off the bike more than on it, I modified my old (nice and grippy) OtterBox to have the free mount for QuadLock stick to the inner case, but have the "lock" part stick through the outer rubber case by cutting a hole in the rubber to fit with an Exacto knife.

get the ram mount with the pass-through handlebar clamp adapter. Centers everything. No added weight/uggo to the bars.

Sounds like you made up your mind. The Ram X is pretty good, but if it doesn't work out, a buddy has this on his King and was thinking of doing the same for my Deluxe. I like it centered over the bar clamps. Then use the TechGripper as shown by Biggerfoot. That mount is also by Techmount.

An iPhone 7 is a big phone.
You must have a big tank pouch or an awful small phone.

Got a pic of that pouch?

Didn't know the 7 was big. Mines a 6. It doesn't fit all the way in but it's secure.
Are you and the bike ok after ditching???

Riding or not, I never wear a bra. I would imagine wearing one is uncomfortable.
