Many variants of this seat available:

WLA replica: Least padding, but most ability to move around on seat. My bony *** has done a number of 800 mile days on this.

So-called "police" seat. As recently as the mid '80s you could buy these things brand new (NOS) for $50. More padding, less ability to move around. Benefit of the "pogo" set-up is the seat height is several inches over stock. Much easier for tall riders.

Stock Crossbones seat: Most padded and least comfortable of the options I've used. I sold mine so I can't check to see what if any differences there are to the 1925 seat pan. Whatever they might be they are extremely minor since all three versions interchange 100%.
