Just looked on KBB.com, the trade in on an 07 Deluxe is roughly $12.7k. thats a $5k hit, but retail is listed at $17k which is only about a $1k hit. Best thing to do is just buy em and ride em.

Harley's are finally back to reality. The waiting lists were ruining Harley. That's another reason I waited 17 years before buying another. But I think this one will last the rest of my life. Now Harley will sell mostly to people that actually ride them. Woohoo.

I waited 9 months to get my 1998 Fatty because back then I couldn't even put my name on a stealership out of my jurisdiction. But I don't worry about resale value because I bet I can still get at leat 10k for my fatty :-)
