Default Fitted SE204 cams in my 2008 FXSTC, very happy

After much thought and after reading many threads on cams I pulled the trigger on some SE204s. I am more than happy with the result, it's picked up the power and throttle response. It's got plenty of low end power then when you get on it you can feel the power building as the revs climb, the bike feels alive now. Fuel economy has hardly changed and the idle sound is just lovely.
I had the dealer install them and tune her using the SE pro tuner, she was also stage 1 before the cams.
To anyone wanting to do cams I say go for it, just find a cam that matchs your bike and importantly your riding style.

SE 204 cams are a great all around cams, you lose nothing, glad you're happy.

I have a set of 204's and a bassani 2-1 pipe sitting in the garage waiting to be put on. Waiting till the weather gets a little colder so I can take a weekend off and install them. I'm excited, I've heard alot of positive reviews on the 204's!

You'll be stoked with that set up, love that bassani. Good luck with the install.

Did you have your bike dyno'd? Just curious what kind of numbers they are making with the 204's.

I have those cams as well. I'm very happy I got them. More power and a mean sounding idle.

I also have SE 204 cams in my bike. Very happy with them. Sounds great and gives the engine some good power.

I did have one, not that long though. Haven't had it on a dyno yet as there isn't one close by.
