Default Crash/Highway/Engine guard Bars. 4 my Deluxe

They have multiple names, multiple shapes & uses.

What style functions the best (to save the bike & comfort) ?
What brand holds up the best?
What looks the best?
The prices vary allot, Harley is in the middle of the price range (not the top).
With Pictures please (if you have them).
I have done many searches and the picture I have found suck.
Only one or two angles, it would be nice to see what they actually look like on the bike.
I know function is important, but I prefer not detract from the looks if possible.
The ones on my Ultra saved the bike.

Thanks

These are HD softail engine guards with HD highway footrests added. I will never have an HD without an engine guard.

The one time I went down (cage came around a corner as I was exiting a driveway, I hit the brakes and lost balance, not moving thank God) they totally saved the bike and my ***.

Thanks Redlegvzv

No one else has crash bars in there Deluxe or Heritage (something old school)?

I ran across another question re-searching.
The cables that run down the front of the newer bikes.
Interference with the bar installation?
What did you do to take care of it?

Thanks

Here's a few pics of my 2012 w/ a mustache style guard. It also has the pegs, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I have the "Nostalgia" bars on my Deluxe. I like them better than the regular ones.

Do you use both feet locations?
Or just the added pegs?
Any issues with cables/lines on the top mount?

Thanks

The picture makes it tough to see, are they the round ones?

I went with Cobra Fatty Freeway Bars because I liked the thicker look. The big disadvantage of them is that it limits your selection of highway pegs. I am short and don't use highway pegs, so it didn't impact my decision.

I have the Harley bars on my 08 Heritage - - dropped the bike last week, and the only damage was a small scratch on the passing lamp.
Dropped during a very slow turn in a parking lot.
Strange thing though - -turning to the left, and my right foot was caught under the bike when I fell...Apparently I am faster and more limber than I thought, to get that leg over the bike.
