Don't worry man, some of these idiots on here don't know any better.
Depends on the dealer, some list the Heritage as a 'Touring' bike..........

No, they are available with either the 107 or 114

107 Vivid Black: $18,999
114 Vivid Black: $20,299

You can call it or list it as a touring bike.
Of course you can tour with it (as many do).

But technically it isn't part of the "touring" line.
It is and has always been a Softail.
The dealer has nothing to do with what family a bike is part of.

I test drove it and the Fatbob. Awesome machines. I have not been a fan of the Heritage, but this bike is pretty awesome. Fast, handles, eats bumps. Comfortable. Serious. Fatbob, not my thing but spot on. My review is in the Softail section. Test ride it.

hard to beat a tourer. But i like the new design of the heritage and softails. JMO. I would like to own both, but I like my savings account too much.

Rode a new 114 Heritage at Adventure H-D in Ohio. I was impressed with the way it absorbed bumps, but especially the way it tracks, road irregularities do not move it, it tracks strait, no matter what. Power was maybe 10 to 15 percent stronger at low end, but not that much better than my 103 HO. It does ride and handle much better, But $22000, not that much better. I like the way the new bags open, but I know I can get much more stuff in my ' 16 bags, witch are a pain in the neck, but look great.

Storage capacity is weak. The bags look huge on the outside, but once you open them up theres not much you can put.
