I rode one on Saturday
Review to follow. Better than mine ?
yep. I don't like the motor. Noisiest tiniest sounding
thing I've ever heard. Quick but runs out of steam

It was about time for a Heritage upgrade. I looked over a new one last week at the dealer, but did not ride it. There is a niche in the market for that bike.

I saw one at Toledo HD, it had the 14 engine, my first impression was, how to you stuff a jacket in one of those saddlebags, they are tiny. And I don't like the new "Heritage" spots, which look like rectangle toggle switches.

How do you take something intentionally named "Heritage" and update it for a modern fad? I agree that it has been ruined with the loss of the chrome. The same dealer that had one in the show room also had a soft tail with the seat off. The mono-shock is above the battery. If the battery can not be removed from the side, a great deal of disassembly will be required just to get at the battery. It would almost be like having to remodel the bathroom every time a new roll of paper is needed. Didn't test ride one, won't buy that version.

went to look at one... the bags are way nicer. easy to access and seems like more room. the speedo has a thumb toggle which allows for multiple functions. the new headlights are by far some of the nicest Ive seen on a bike. only thing I dont know is the why they chose to not put the suspension adjustment on the mock oil bag like the other new soft tails.

I thought the bags looked cheap and kinda flimsy. As I read on here on a thread like Viking bags. The switchback bags were better than that. I wouldn't buy that model either. But it could be made nice with some work and money.
The ride, handling and power were good.

I just saw one last weekend. It was $25K. Do they all have M8 114s?
