I'm that weird duck who actually likes the 2018 Low Rider from afar. I haven't had a chance to see one up close and was wondering what rider height or inseam is ideal or too tall for a Low Rider. I'm 5'9" with app. 30" inseam....

 

Well as with the new 2018 Softails the ride height is a lot higher then it use to be on them. Which sucks and is one of the reasons I chose the 2018 Road King Special. I figured if I'm going to sit high I mise well go all out and get the King. The new Low rider has the same seat height as the Road King Special. Kinda crazy. I know the Low rider use to be a Dyna and it sat a little higher anyway but I don't get the name low rider anymore. Should be called the High Rider!!! Lol.. At 5'9 I'm sure you'll be fine but might want to test it out to be sure!!

 

I rode the 2018 Low Rider. Same height and inseam as you. The fit was pretty close to ideal for me. There's room to accommodate both taller and shorter riders. Here's a pic of me riding the 2018:

 

Would love to see the LR get its second front disc back and a 114 version.

 

Same inseam.

Tilted the bars back a tad and it fits fine.

Easy to flat-foot.

 

2nd front disc and 2-into-1 would be my vote.

 

OP, you will be fine. I am 5'7" and I sat on the LR 2018 today. I could flat-foot the bike no problem. It is just a tiny bit higher than the Fat Boy. Ever so slightly.

I also like the 2018 Low Rider.

 

The new Low Rider is 3/16 of an inch taller than last year.
Way taller lol.
Yea it needs it's 2nd front disc back though for sure and a 114 option.
