Default What size tire can i run on the front?

Ok guys for some reason my rear tire has rapidly worn down to steel belts since my motor build . While im doing it im strongly considering replacing the front as well, since I believe it to be the original with 11k miles on it and its the HD Dunlop. I was thinking about going with the metzler 880 front and rear, but the real question is how much wider if any can I go on the front? It has the typical 90/r21 on it and id like to get more contact patch on the ground if I can. So can I go any wider on the front? Thx!

Check out this link, it should help you with your question. Just put Metzler 888's on my Slim, they seem to handle as well as the 880's and are supposed to last a bit longer

I'm running the 888s on my '04. 90/21 on the front. If you'd like to up to a 120, (I would), You'll have to get a wider rim.
