Burnout Cycles lowering kit

RE: Burnout Cycles lowering kit
I though it was very easy to install, once you get the shocks out. Those bolts can be tight. I loosened everything while it was on the jack, then put a 4x4 under the rear wheel and lowered the bike enough to get the clearance to remove and install the shocks. But the kit is a breeze, just make sure you have some loc-tite for the studs, you don't want them coming loose.
P.S. My bike could go a lot lower, i'm up near the top of the setting for 2 up riding.

I never measured it before installing the kit, but I attached a couple of before & after pics. Like I said earlier, I could have gone a whole lot lower. I origanly set the nuts on the kit at the end of the studs, but when I let the bike down on the ground the tire was so far in the fender I was afraid there would be clearance issues, especialy riding 2 up. (Yeah, that's my bike a year ago)

I believe Warg if your only lowering the rear you don't need a shorter kickstand. If you are lowering the front as well... u will need a shorter kickstand but that will usually come with the better kits such as HD and Ness. FX's can generally get by with thier kickstand to a certain point.
