Burnout Cycles lowering kit

RE: Burnout Cycles lowering kit
Thanks 97FXSTSB! You got a pretty wicked scoot yourself. Really nice! I am really tempted to go lower. I'm a pretty big boy though. When I sit on the bike itdrops about 1 1/2" - 2"inches lower in the back.It looks way better when I'm sitting on it (that's for sure) or even when I go 2up, so, I here what your saying. I just dumped a ton a money into it. I have to replenish my slush fund so I can get the lowering kit. It maybe a little while. Be safe and enjoy your bike!

I used the progressive suspension lowering kits for both the front and back. They were about $100 each. But unlike the Burnout kit, the kit for the back entailed taking the shocks apart. It was really pretty easy IMO.
As far as 2-up riding goes, the short answer is no.
The long answer is that I purchased a second bike for the wife to ride, so I now have full artistic license over my bike. I lowered it, put on a solo seat, took off the passenger pegs, and welded the 2-up seat hole shut. So now she couldn't ride on the back if she wanted to.[sm=shades.gif]

DaveJ.. I like the stance you got there... did you use the burnout cycle lowering kit? And do you ever ride 2 up like that? any issues?

Thanks Rick!
I'm really pleased with the way it's turning out. Do you have any larger pics of your scoot?

Hey sorry Rick....I had forgotten that I already responded to your original comment. (What an idiot!)
