when i bought my 2010 fatboy lo it came with the satin chrome exhaust mufflers i was lucky rush made the black slip on mufflers not one after-mart never made the satin chrome slip on i hope some body makes good slip on mufflers to match the bike chrome slip on will ruin the looks of the bike

FWIW...

My '12 bagger had the CAT in the header...

I know the California header for '09 had the CAT in the header... not sure exactly when the CAT went 50 states, and when the baggers put it in the header, but I believe with baggers, most years with CAT are in the header......

Good exhaust options are just becoming readily available for the touring M8's. It's gonna be a while

Still plan on purchasing the Vance & Hines Short Shots, and blasting the heat shields to get the brushed look for my Fatboy.

I'm receiving a set of SE Street Cannons and a Pro Street Tuner this coming Tuesday.
Reason why? It's the only thing available at this time. I'd love to tune this bike with my Power vision but I understand it's going to be weeks before any tunes are available..
So for now, I just want it to sound a little better then it does.....

I emailed V&H about the 18s.

The response.

"Yes, we do have some slip-ons in the works for the 2018 softail and a full system that should be out soon"
