For a bunch of bikers...

Right. But breadbasket... The opinion of the relatively infinitesimal number of naysayers on this site hardly represents breadcrumbs, let alone basket. The number of active members on this this forum are not statistically relevant, the wrong demographic and still mostly equally opposing (actually the 'fors' seem to outweigh the 'againsts' even here). Stupidity, ignorance, bit of both... Arrogance is bliss I guess, to think anyone should be listening or cares - LOL.
The bikes are awesome, feel free to make them your own.

Nothing on the bike reminds me of anything similar to a metric bike, with the exception of the fork lowers. However, this has been the case with Harley for years due to who manufacturers them.
If you hate how the bike looks, fine. But people saying it's cheap, plastic, jap, metric, what has harley done?? etc. are talking out their ***.
Many who are complaining don't even really know what they're complaining about. Most are just parroting nonsense they're hearing from others.

The forks are made by showa which I think is used on other metric bikes.

Like the others said, Showa has been making HD forks for a very long time. I know it's not an issue for you but is with others. Just goes to show you that those complaining about this really don't have a clue.

And holy crap, we have 10mm bolts that hold our calipers on because of it. Sacrilege.

In keeping with the general philosophy of this forum: that was the result of a conspiracy between Harley and Snap-On to force Harley owners that wanted to do their own service to buy a set of metric sockets.
