Right. But breadbasket... The opinion of the relatively infinitesimal number of naysayers on this site hardly represents breadcrumbs, let alone basket. The number of active members on this this forum are not statistically relevant, the wrong demographic and still mostly equally opposing (actually the 'fors' seem to outweigh the 'againsts' even here). Stupidity, ignorance, bit of both... Arrogance is bliss I guess, to think anyone should be listening or cares - LOL.

The bikes are awesome, feel free to make them your own.

If you hate how the bike looks, fine. But people saying it's cheap, plastic, jap, metric, what has harley done?? etc. are talking out their ***.
What am I missing with the lower forks looking metric? They look the same as Dyna lower forks.

Many who are complaining don't even really know what they're complaining about. Most are just parroting nonsense they're hearing from others.

The forks are made by showa which I think is used on other metric bikes.

HD has used showa sliders for a long time ... I have two '96 touring models that have showa sliders ... nothing new there

Harley switched to Showa from Kayaba (also a jap fork) 23 model years before that. A complete non-issue.

Like the others said, Showa has been making HD forks for a very long time. I know it's not an issue for you but is with others. Just goes to show you that those complaining about this really don't have a clue.

In keeping with the general philosophy of this forum: that was the result of a conspiracy between Harley and Snap-On to force Harley owners that wanted to do their own service to buy a set of metric sockets.

The entire thread started with this misnomer "bikers"
There maybe 1 in 5,000 anymore.

You forgot about the 3rd set you need to buy: the Torx version
