I like them, they look cool, but I tend to like all drags .

Question is, do you like them and can you live with them?

Drags are like apes, you either like them or hate them.

I have been riding my '07 Night Train for 3 months and almost 6000 miles and after much debate with myself have decided to leave the stock drag bars on. I like them and they fit my frame. My longest ride has only been about 200 miles, so I might change my mind when I do the Savannah GA to Knoxville TN ride I have planed for AUG. Until then I think the distictive drag bars are what gives the Night Train its good looks so for now I am not changing it at all.

Go with whatever is comfortable, I personally think they pull back a bit too far but that is your call, nobody elses.... great looking bike, love the inverted fork!

Pic is crap and not the best to view the bars. Sorry.

I had some spare Chromoly Tubing laying around and I was in the process of making my own 1 1/2" Bars with incorporated 1 1/2" Risers when I found these on Ebay for about $20. My project got sidelined.

My hands are further apart by 3 inches(per side)and is more comfortable for me.

Thanks everyone for all the comments on the bike. As I read through all these replies, I see most people are tending to agree with me. Bars look great on the bike, should get them powdercoated, but they just look good on the bike, just not the right riding position. I have rode 300 mile trips with the stock bars and was comfortable, I just have to get a different bar of some sort to get the mirrors out far enough to see around my shoulders. I am glad to see some one with the stock risers and wider bars, kinda leaning towards that option, but have thought about the deuce riser option also, just like the cleanliness of the "T-bars" Well see what happens in the next few days, got a bike night at the local dealer and a few other rides planned, so see what comes out of all that. Again thanks for all the comments.

I totally like how they look in your bike,..the only thing and i guess everyone agreed is to turn them BLACK,,You will change for good the front end of the bike and it will be more agresive.!...
good luck and congrats![sm=icon_rock.gif]

Something about the bars is driving me nuts. The shot taken from the rear looks AWESOME, but then when you look at it from the side they just jump out at ya. It may be the chrome, or it may be that everything else is black. I can't figure it out. Maybe if you blended a little more chrome into your front end, or blacked out the bars. Something to even it all out.

You know what I mean ??

Thanks for the pic of duece risers with the stock drag bar. I wondered what that looked like. Does the bar still clear the tank OK when turned full lock?
with the stock triple trees it took some tweaking to get them to clear the gas cap and gauge, but it can be done. what caught me off guard when i did the install was the acorn nuts on the mirrors. when i went to the ness mirrors i had plenty of clearance. the ness mirrors have a shorterthread protrusionand use a standard nut. if those inverted fork trees are higher than strock trees you shouldn't have any problem with them clearing, but watch those nuts on the mirrors.
edit: pm me
