Default Softail tail lights

Forgive me if this is a duplicate post, searched and didn't find much.

I just bought a 1999 Softail Standard. I can't seem to find many tail lights that are compadible with my bike. ate they interchangeable with the newer 2000+ styles? Some
of the LEDs in the aftermarket light on my bike are out and wanted to replace it with something similar. Thanks.

Loving the bike BTW. Came from a Sportster.... way different.

Thanks for the link.

My main question is do any of the newer 2000+ lights fit?

Check Harleys website, see what's compatible.

Anything between 2000 and 2006 should do, after that the rear ends on bikes fitted with bobtail fenders went over to wider 200 back ends so those lights won't.
