Default 05 Deluxe exhaust

Just picked up a new to me 05 deluxe. Basically stock. It is EFI and I have a full exhaust picked out to get rid of the stock. Question is, can anyone recommend a deceit air cleaner? Also do I have to get a tuner? And if so also any recommendations?

If I went with slip on's do I still need a tuner?

others will likely offer advice, but here is mine.
find an air cleaner that you like the looks of it, I personally like the small round chrome air cleaner Harley puts out ....it looks very old-school and very nice on the deluxe. If you are going as far as changing exhaust and air cleaner, then I think you should finish the stage one with a tuner, I just got the Harley Street tuner, not very expensive and seems to work well. Here's a picture of my deluxe with Vance and Hines big shot Longs. I like the looks and the sound. You can also zoom up on the air cleaner if you like. I think it looks great on the deluxe

Nice bike, with your tuner did you have to have it dyno? I was looking at the thundermax but it's 900 bucks. OUCH

Also do you know the part number for your air cleaner? Love the look

Pretty certain it is 61300130, It is the bobber style. I got the smooth one, they also have one with the HD bar and shield. Very similar but I just preferred to smooth.

also I got this kit, with the chrome backing, I believe it includes everything less the cover. Part number 29400240

Of course double check these numbers to be sure they are what you want.
