Default New pics after a wash

Took some updated pics after washing the bike today. I included pics with and without the front fender. I had to take it off to grind down the inside lip cause it was rubbing a little on the tire. The bike is lowered and I have minimal clearance between tire and fender.

Don't know whatI like better.....with or without the fender. What do you guys think?

Without the fender looks way cooler. That's how I like to run mine, but it is a pain in thebutt every time you hit any wet pavement.

I actually like it both ways. If I had to choose, I'd say go without it. That's just me. Spike, if you're gonna keep yours off for good, why not cut the boss off for the fender and grind it smooth. I ran my 'Train without one for a bit, and like you said, it's a pain on wet pavement. That's why I put one back on it. If you smoothed the mounting area, it would look sweet. Of course.... you'd be committed to being without one at that point.

I've actually got a spare front fender that I am planning to chop down really small so it'll look right with my chopped rear. I like it without, but a chopped down one will be a compromise so I don't have to deal with the spray.

Call me old fashioned, but I like it with the fender better.

I like it muchhh better without the fender..that looks WICKED, man. Either way, it's an extremely sweet bike and definitely different than any other i've saw.

I want to remove my front fender as well, and bob the rear..but i've been thinking of getting a fender like this for the front, or cutting mine down to something similar.

Only thing is, that's the 'Exile Trojan' ... $400...

Outsource,

That is one hard looking ride! By far the best looking Fatboy IMO that I've seen in a long time. Way to be original.

As you can see on my Dyna in the avater pic, I am a fan of ditching the front fender, although on your bike, I do think it looks better on, as nothing else is really shaved/cut/or bobbed.

Lastly, have you thought about removing the rear reflectors, and the turn signals...possible relocating the front ones nonetheless?

Keep up the awesome work!

Thanks for all the feedback. I like it without the fender as well.

utexasrider - you're right. It really does set off the rims.

SKT - thanks. This is my first HD and I got lucky that I found one that was already modded up. Definitely going to remove the reflectors. I'm thinking about a new rear fender. Dont know whether to go with a bob look like spike 95 has or an Arlen Ness TaildraggerI think it's called. I will eventuallyrelocate the turn signals when I decide which way to go.

michaelbarry - thanks.I think she looks different too.

Forgot to mention: Other mods I'm considering are the V&H Big Shot Steaggard with the quiet baffles and a more comfortable seat. I'm also looking to swap out the apes with some that are narrower. I need them narrow to get the bike througha doorway and I don't want to have to settle for drags (although I think drags are pretty cool too).
