Default Help! Tried to remove heel shifter, now the bike won't shift correctly.

2015 fatboy. bought the spacer from Kury because I hate the heel shifter. Put it on, bike won't find neutral and feels like it only has 4 gears. Can't shift anymore than that. Not sure what gears I'm missing, but theres only 4! Tried to put it back to original and same problem. Any thoughts? I leave for sturgis in 3 days! Need to get it fixed

Almost sounds like you have the wrong one and the splines are not engaging fully. The correct one for the softail is fluted and 15/16 inches wide. Mine also needed a spacer

I ran it to see and it actually is fine. no issues at all and i can find neutral. However, when i try to shift when the bike is off I stlll can only get 4 gears. Is this normal? I guess other than finding neutral, i havent tried to shift with it off before.

Yea. The bike is meant to be rolling, gears turning, when shifting. Normal.

If you dont plan on using the heel shifter the rubber makes a perfect spacer. Just trim it to size....slide it on....install toe shifter.
