ive heard one person say their high beam went out. other than that I haven't heard it from any other people. ive also heard issues about HD daymakers but like anything that's electronic your going to have some sort of issues. honestly even if my high beam burns out screw it. I have the ditch lights also and you have to look at price compared to quality. for the price theyre amazing. I could buy these 9 times compared to the HD ones once

First off; D-Doc you should post your video on the General Harley Chat forum.
I think other's would benefit.

I got my Sunpies in today and got them installed on my Heritage.

It took me a tad longer than D-Doc due to my Reckless fairing sits so tight to the headlight bucket I have to loosen the outer fairing to get the trim ring off.
That being said it still only took me about 45 minutes and that's while drinking a beer and taking my time.

As with D-Doc, I'm very impressed with these.
IMO these lights are differently worth $100.

I bought one of these based upon this thread and a few others. I already had the custom dynamics halo driving lights, but just couldn't bring myself to pay the $430 for the CD headlight and of coarse the $600 for the daymaker. I had the DK Customs H4 bulb, but felt high beam didn't add much more than low beam. So far the Sunpie is worth every penny of the $59 I spent on Amazon for it. Still need to do a side by side comparison with my brothers daymaker?

Please do this side by side
I'm almost getting the JW Speaker one (in theory the same manufacturer of the day maker) but still $265 vs $60

I have Eagle Lights 5 3/4" 8900 Series Generation III LED Projection Daymaker Headlight.

I do not recommend it (i even rode around on high beam even the cops didn't pull me over and fined me) ... it's bright but not bright on the road no matter how we adjusted it ... so i ended up taking my husband's Daymaker off him and gave him mine.

I'll try and take some side by side pics of the bikes head on and then the results into a dark area and post them here. I did think hard on the JW Speaker as well but found the Sunpie and decided for the price, was worth trying it after the positive reviews. I will say that the DK Customs bulb made me much more visible to other drivers during the day. You could barely look at it directly even on low beam. But I live in the country and do a lot of early morning and later night riding through wooded areas and corn fields. And even a moment sooner makes all the difference with an animal hit or miss. You can see my first deer strike in the thread link below in post 1. Just a little more nervous now running through wooded areas.

OMG! took me a few seconds to understand the picture was deer guts and not just mud (looked like you went in a mud trail with a fatboy)

I live in the country too and specially here (PNW) there's no shortage of trees and deer. I almost hit one once but I avoid it and I still don't know how.
At night I typically avoid go fast or avoid ride at night all together.
The stock low beam are almost useless and the high beam are marginally ok. An upgrade is in my list for the next few weeks for sure.

I'd have to agree with all of you... I got these lights for my birthday in March. Haven't had much night riding experience with them, but I love the look, I retired my auxiliary lights to run with the high beam as well as the CD dynamic rings. Tons of white light up front.

Well, I pulled the trigger on the Sunpie headlight and passing lamps for my FLHRC. I wanted to get the JW Speaker adaptive headlight, but it's $800 bones. Couldn't justify it - especially considering I have passing lamps. Custom dynamics was my choice for the turn signals - front and rear, and the BAL-2 bright *** lights tail light.

Question: I bought the bracket for the Sunpie headlight. Based on what I saw on the Amazon reviews, I needed it. Anyone use it on a similar model?
