Default turn signals

hello my turn signal lights on my 1991 flstc do not flash I turn on the left switch and the 2 left lights go on but don't flash..same on the right. I installed a new turn signal module but the problem is still the same. I checked voltage ect in all the wires and all were okay except no 12 volts coming from the reed switch in the speedo. also I canot find in the wiring diagram where the reed switch gets 12 volts from.
can anyone help me to get my lights to flash?
thankyou all
bushy.

Looking at the wiring diagram, there is a wire coming from the turn signal module that goes to the speedometer (white/green).

The other wire on the speedometer is black (ground).

Try disconnecting the white/green wire, if the signals flash, you know what the problem is.

Is the TSM grounded? The lights you see, are they the running lights or the turns?
I think the reed switch activates a ground signal not a positive "hot signal" to turn off the TSM.
