Cams for 98 bore kit on softail

Not to hijack the thread, but I have been waiting to hear from someone with the S&S 97 inch big bore kit. A couple of guys in the engine section recommended the 583 easy start cams and was wondering if it was worth spending the $$ for them. I have 510 Gs in mine and am putting 102 tq and 98 hp on the ground, but the rpm' are too high. Thanks for the info
As far as 510 to 583, you will move the torque curve to the left but I don't think it's worth it cost wise.

I'm doing a 98" big bore kit on my 03 Night Train and was gonna go with S&S 583CE cams & wanted to know if they will work good together and if anyone is by chance running these together? Pretty new to all the upgrades out for the TC88 and looking for low-mid cam and looks like the 583's are good at Idle-5000. I usually ride solo and not gonna lie I also ride aggressive. I'm also adding S&S Cam Chest Chain Drive Kit with Hydraulic Tensioners,TC3 Plate and Pump, Pushrods, Tappets and adding Valve Springs. Afterwards I'll be doing some Head work. I appreciate any feedback and have a fun & safe holidays! To all of our Vets out there, I thank you for your service!!

Hey bud, I'm gonna be at 10.4 to 1, do you know a good cam choice for that compression. The site I purchased my bore kit from said that the compression was 9.8 to 1 so I planned on the 583's and was dead set on using them and then I find out the compression is 10.4 to 1 and S&S tech guy said that cam won't work with that compression, I asked him what the ratio needs to be for the 583's and he never answered me. Would you by chance know?
