RE: Put the night train on Ebay
i said possibly pull an 07 with some mods...... bc i have done it, i just dont know what mods they really had besides pipes....but i dunno, i dont think il care a whole lot if i sell it. id just like to get rid of the payment and quit sinkin money into it....which i just cannot stop wanting to put money into it. But, i wont be devastated if it doesnt sell. with getting married and stuff i need to spend my money somewhere else for now.

If you want people to start bidding higher make the opening bid 15,000. I hate reserves. Even if the person bid 15,000 dollars right off the get go it won't go to 15,000 until someone else bids 15,000. So perhaps the person is willing to pay more but the way you set-up the auction they can't even if they want to.
But if you think you are getting 16k for a used night train I think you are going to be disappointed. You can buy a new one in black for less than that.

i'd have to agree about putting the rear tail light and stock bars back on. at a minimum the rear tail light because i see that you changed cables for the z bars. i wouldn't want to buy a used bike and pay for someone else's mods that they did and turn around to pay some more cash to change the bike to what i like. it's usually easier and more cost effective to start from stock form. i think the majority of the consumer market shops for stock or nearly stock bikes, and vehicles for that matter. i had to learn this when i sold a modded out mustang. i believe the same priciple applies in bikes as well.

the bars are a love it or hate it item. the bidding in the last two minutes of an auction on ebay usually comes with lower priced items - not motorcycles like yours. If it was a 1970 Dodge Challenger going for 16,000 there also would be a lot of last minute bids. If I were you, I would put it in the Cycle Trader and try to get 14,500.

You would be doing very well to get $14,500.00
I'm not seeing through rose colored glasses or being hypocritical here..
I have aton of cash in my bike, and I know full well that I would be lucky to get half of what I have in it..
That's just the facts of owning a toy, and one that is readily available to anybody who wants one..

you gotta nice bike, but I think people on ebay are lookin for a deal. It's tough to charge people for what you put on the bike. I think stock is the way to go, not too many people buy a bike thats already customized. good luck, I hope you get what you want.
