Default V & H Big Radius 2 vs longshots

Wondering the sound difference. I have slash cuts right now, and there is a tiny crack in the pipe near the header. So, need to replace. I just can't come up with a decision. I like the look of the Big Radius 2 black pipes. And I really love the sound of my pipes now. I even like how it back-raps on deceleration. I am just so afraid to buy some pipes that aren't as loud or sound as good as the ones I have. Top end doesn't matter to me as I have never had "him" throttled all the way.

I am biased but Big Radius all day, every day. Great sounding pipes, 'back raps' on deceleration will depend on how the bike fuelling is setup and with a change of pipes no guarantee that it will still be there or perhaps become more prominent?

If you love the sound and looks of the ones you have. Why not have it welded up, then re-chrome or powder coat? Probly even save some money.

My big radiuses came on the bike so I cant say i chose them, however i am extrenely happy with them. They are loud and have that nice muscle sound but they arent obnoxious enough for my complainy neighbors to be angry (not that i care at all... lol)

I never had the Big Radius.
I did have Longshots before I went to Big Shots Longs.
Longshots have a very nice sound to them and you can make them as loud as you like. A side benefit is one doesn't see them too much, unlike the Big Radius.

All I ever see are the long shots with a bike attached to them. Not a fan, at all.

Advantage of Big Radius, you can get bigger saddlebags.

I've got the big shot longs on my heritage and the big radius on my slim (both 13's) and I like the both. I think I might like the big radius a little more because of the "back-raps". You can ride either REALLY LOUD or quiet.

To each his own. I just got rid of my Big Radius because they were way too loud. Don't get me wrong, I like the sound but I like it behind me not straight down where the sound bounces off the pavement. I went back to stock. I would like to get the two into one V&H or the Cobra exhaust but I can't justify the cost just for the sound. Popping on development is not a good thing. It's telling you that your out of tune.

I can appreciate your not liking the sound volume. As you say, to each his own. But nowhere in these posts did I hear anyone say anything about popping on decel. The back rap mentioned is not a decel pop sound.

Decel- pops, back rapping, is there a difference?
