How much???

 

I have an 07 Heritage softail classic and I want to buy Vance and Hines Big Shot Longs.... I haven't seen or heard any on a heritage 07 myself I've only seen pictures of them. Any good companieson the internet besides ebay.. Thanks for any advice.

 

I have the vance & hines big shots long on my 07 Heritage Classic and they work great. I've had them on for about four months and they have not scraped on the payment yet. The sound was not too loud until I install thunder monster baffles, now they have the real deep sound I wanted. I have the pc111, stage 1 and install the 02 sensors back into my pipes but they are disconnected, I had popping on decel until I install the thunder monster baffles and they stop my popping. I havehad noissues with my vance & hines pipes. I bought my pipes from Eastern Prefromance on e-bay for $489.00

 

I have scraped my BS Longs a few times. The most dramatic one was a 180 righthand that was a steep climb that started immediately from the street. This was two up with luggage. Hit hard enough to straigthen my lean into the corner.

 

Many thanks for your reply, one concern is popping on decel, I hateit, takes all the joy out of riding. I'm presently running a PC with a K&N filter onboard and I removed the metal plug half way up each stock muffler, there is little pop but to achieve this I had it put on a dyno-tuner to getit right... Is it possible with V&H to remove 'the pop' by having a dyno tune and not overly loud pipes?
I want a good harley sound but don't want to upset the locals.
Any other tips thanks as I want it right the first time.

 

G'day Boot, I bought a set of V&H Short Shot Staggered's (& a Fuelpak)from Eastern Preformance and had them freighted half way around the world to Australia, smashing local prices

I will buy from them again. Hope this helps.

I have a pair of Longs on my 07 Deluxe with the FuelPak. I get a little popping and I have been working with V&H to make changes in the parameters and we were exchanging e-mails then all of a sudden my e-mails were not getting answered. In my opinion go with the LongShots but not the FuelPak. V&H are keeping there parameters a secrect for some reason...
